The shackles are broken.

It is done. What was once Mhaldor has succumbed to the very thing they considered a weakness. Having failed to handle their absurd self-imposed hardships, they sought help from Hashan, admitting yet refusing to endure and overcome their inability to combat Change.

In doing so, Mhaldor proved once again that nothing upon Creation may stay permanent, and that even the strictest of dogmas crumble before Discord and Entropy. Empires rose and fell, struck by corruption and betrayal - what hope could Sartan have for His servants? How could their attempt at order and discipline survive untouched before that which dismantles all order?

Such is the fate of everything. All is bound to be revitalized with change and impermanence. Yet how many find it in themselves to come to terms with this? How many realize the infinite potential brought to Creation, and turn it to their favour? Of all cities of old, only Ashtan still stands.

Embrace Chaos, Sapience. Cast aside the false notion that things you know are supposed to stay as they are, and learn to revel in the beauty of mutability. The Seat welcomes those of you who seek change.

Penned by my hand on the 9th of Miraman, in the year 909 AF.
