Oh no!

Greetings, Blackwillow.

While it is unfortunate that this Danna-Person did not add the books into the library, as had been intended by Anatral when they were handed over, I must point out the issue of not pressing the matter thoroughly enough when it was relevant.

By waiting, the ownership of these no doubt incredibly valuable books has essentially passed over to them, and from there, to Bellis and the CIJ. Bellis is a nice lady, too, and I am sure that she would allow you, or anybody really, to read them, should they desire to do so.

The CIJ as an essentially neutral faction within the realms would be a great entity to hold onto historical relics, too, I believe, but that's an entirely different point.

What irks me then with your writing, is your insistence on these books being property of Eleusis, and that some sort of theft has occured. Not just that, but your seeming offense at being given copies of these books, when asking for exactly that, has me downright perplexed.

I understand the value of the books themselves, as religious relics, don't misunderstand me, but it does not seem to me like the CIJ has denied you access to view and read them, you were given convenient copies for your libraries, at a cost that I assume somewhat mirrors the required work that came with creating these copies, and then you were ALSO given a price for the originals. Religious Artifacts, expensive ones, for a cost that you can -No Doubt- shoulder the burden of, 2,100 credits, for a City the size of yours?

Now you've declared war, though, and I reckon that your eyes will never see so much as their covers anymore, out of spite toward your people for going that far, resorting to violence, and all.

Oh, and before I forget it, I might not be in charge of your War Ministry, but it seems like you've been losing on a few too many fronts to really warrant yet another declaration. Or are we hunting shallower waters now, from cities down to houses?

Please come to your senses.

Yours truly, Meloi
