On Research

Cyrene,

While your city does not see the weakness you espouse, Mhaldor also does not see you as a threat to Lord Sartan's goal at the moment - due to that, we mostly ignore you. As of this month, that has changed.

Your ambassador, Clodhna Evenstar, took it upon herself to "research" the effects of vivification and extermination. She did so without mentioning it to us, and did so in a war party with Eleusis and their Speaker. Vivification upon the Master's Isle is an act of war, as Eleusis well knows, for we have fought with them longer than most reading this have been alive.

Perhaps this can be attributed to your Ambassador's young age. Perhaps she was ignorant, and was not aware that Lord Sartan's army responds en force to such aggressions. Perhaps the Senate did not deliberate for decades and decide that your Ambassador could do this, and it was all a grave misunderstanding. If this is the case, I personally invite Clodhna to respond as such on these very boards.

However, knowing of the paperwork and deliberation and discussion that goes on within your walls, I do not believe this to be true. As such, His soldiers will be visiting your city soon. We will research how blood flows on your streets. We will research the effects of Cyrenian hearts given to our daemons, and Cyrenian bodies turned into spears. We will research the war strategies of one hundred lazy dragons against a dozen hardened soldiers. You will learn that our research is much more effective than yours.

I do not have the time to wait for your Senate to meet - I feel my fur turning grey just considering that prospect. You have one month to respond, asking for Lord Sartan's forgiveness. If you do not, I have stated what will happen.

In Brutality,
-Commandant Iaxus Guistel
