Contradictions and Ironies

The Heart of the Vashnars professes itself to be a refuge and a place of peace, where decency and rule of law sustain its fierce independence. In recent days though we have seen its members repeatedly interfering in our battles beyond Cyrene's plague walls and involving outsiders in the city's supposedly indomitable defense.

At any moment, some Mhaldorian will no doubt issue an ultimatum proclaiming their foul-fogged city the only power that can truly align the civilised world against us with any hope of efficacy, and your people will forget the way they first forged an agreement with the ormyrr who served Bal'met or how they all stood smirking as the tsol'teth sank your urban blight into the tide.

Though our bodies may bleed into Her earth and our helpless denizens may fall to the blades of milksops who stand against She Who is Nature, we, at the very least, have stood our ground as the rest of you have broken your oaths and manipulated your ethoses in order to defy us.

Open your eyes, Doctor Darke. Watch as we chisel away at the false foundations your existence is built upon. Or keep them closed and continue to prattle on about contradictions and ironies, which your own people quite clearly embody.
