Saddened by recent events

Eleusis,

I refuse to speak ill of the village itself as I was born and raised within its protective canopies. I grew up within its trees, served under the Ancient Circle of Druids and have many memories with many villagers who reside within the vine covered treetops. I have numerous family members who reside there as well as many old friends as well as new. I lived in the Aureliana, slept amongst the butterflies and flitted across its branches. It feels like just yesterday I was undergoing my Druid tasks with Azuros on my tail trying to get me through to the next advancement.

However, I will say that Eleusis is not the friendly village that I knew and loved as it once was. Many of us whom have left can see the rot that has started to eat away at the roots of the lovely village whom you all call home. I used to enjoy visiting with my family and friends within the village but now I feel I am no longer welcome and I have done nothing but be friendly to MOST who live there.

It is sad that it has come to this. Most of it has to do with the certain people whom flocked to your gates as soon as an active Goddess appeared. The atmosphere changed, the village I loved turned into now a ravenous monster whom speaks that they want to eradicate all city folk. I understand it is Lord Aegis's will for war and combat but this is not the Eleusis that I remember. And I do not like what it has become...

Forever mourning for the past,
Captain Lyrikai Winterhart

Penned by my hand on the 9th of Phaestian, in the year 888 AF.
