You are mistaken. We are not the rejects of civilization. It is we who reject civilization.
Most of us do indeed come from cities. The difference is we came to our senses and now seek to protect that which we may have been ignorant of in our previous lives.
I don't begrudge your mistaken assumption. It is a common one. Do try to learn the difference between 'rejected by', and 'willfully rejecting of'. It will serve you in the long run.
