Atalkez,

I once thought of you as a friend, and when I read your writing, some part of me wanted to offer you advice and guidance. I wish I could think of some. Thinking with your heart led you to where you are now: at the head of a shattered spear. Were I to tell you to think with your head rather than your heart, you would do no better.

Your city welcomed its latest converts as readily as your wife welcomed the Tyrannus to her bed; open arms with no regard to whether they were darkwalkers or the Tyrannus herself. Yet how was Farrah treated?

You can flourish a broken weapon, but it looks far more intimidating in bar fights than on the world stage. I guess my only advice would be to put the splinters down and accept reality, but the odds of you doing that are about as high as a one-legged man's odds of winning an ass kicking contest.

Love,
Tesha

Penned by my hand on the 2nd of Mayan, in the year 884 AF.
