The call of Nature

We think we see Nature. We think we know Nature. We think we fight against Nature, or fight for Nature.

So few truly understand.

Nature to most is what you see. Plants, animals. Things we can touch. Things we can use for medicine, or food and warmth. No.

This is not the whole of Nature.

Nature is the wild, unrestrained bloodlust of the wolf pack. Nature is the territorialistic nature of the bear. Nature is the sharp tooth and sharp claw. The thrill of the hunt.

Nature is the cyclone, the eruption. The tornado and the earthquake. Cataclysm and catastrophy. Nature is destruction and death. The end of life, with the promise of starting anew.

Nature is release. Release from the constraints of the Divine who wish to rule over us, through direct invervention or Their constructs. Society, cities, governments. Morals, standards, expectations. These are shackles upon your very soul, that draw you away from Nature. Away from that basic, primitive state which all Creation was wrought.

Forge your own path. Reject society, turn your back on cities. Leave behind the order, laws, regimentation. Be free, run wild. Embrace the hunt, and let Her tendrils creep into your heart, to plant their seeds deep within your soul. Blossom, flowers. Run free, and revel in the chase of the hunt.

The Wolf hunts.
