A reply to your confusing post.

Dear Minister Shecks,

While I do not want to undermine the responses of my 'so called cohort', you both addressed and referred to me personally in your post, so you will have to forgive the delay in my response. My name does have the tendency to get attached to conflict, however this instance you speak of I had no active hand in. Had I been awake at the time you may have seen mine among the names you have listed, however such is not the case. It would stand to reason that any such bounties or charges filed for my head in the matter would be considered illegitimate.

Since you have decided to retaliate since your previous posting, I believe it is sufficed to say that you may have been properly informed that no such alliance has existed in the common era. What you may have been describing was perhaps the result of some incidental overlap in the goals of our two nation-states. Often, in times of great conflict, the goals of two such as ourselves may align. Formal alliances, such as you have described, are rare in this common age and for good reason.

While it is true that Eleusis both share a natural propensity towards preserving Creation in a sense of the word, we differ on one crucial point, your city's continued existence and its ongoing impact on Nature. As kin and tribe have sought to do Nature's work here in the efforts of reclaiming your city for Nature, they are to be lauded as heroes. Those of the of the Village of Eleusis are free to see the Viridian Charter fulfilled in the manners of their choosing, and are called to the purpose of doing Nature's will through the reclamation of the cities.

We offer our thoughts and prayers to the families of those who lost their loved ones in the conflict, that their continued service to the ethos of the cities will be bathed in the realization that the Dawnspear, like the other cities of Sapience, contribute only to the ultimate fall of civilization, and whose existence hinges solely upon the continued prosperity of Nature. I hope and pray you also reach this insight before it is too late.

Post Script: I would caution you against describing your guards as simpletons, given that they died fighting for your cause honourably. Such an attitude does not often foster a healthy morale among the remainder of your surviving guards.

In service to Nature Herself, Eleusis, and the Scions of the Ithmia,

Chieftain Andraste Montenegro

Penned by my hand on the 16th of Miraman, in the year 861 AF.
