Ashtan's decision

Hello Imyrr,

As you know, I recently asked Ashtan's Archons to reconsider their frankly silly and unjustified treatment towards me - which resulted in cutting a previously loyal citizen off from his family, his House, and his sizable estate - all due to a personal vendetta of a person who is no longer even a citizen of Ashtan.

Unsurprisingly, politics prevailed over pragmatism, and Ashtan preferred to pander to its pride instead of its supposed paragaon of "Freedom".

... But I am not here to complain, I write to thank you. The slap in the face you and your childish Archons delivered was what I needed to remind me that I had a home to return to, and that the trip I took to Ashtan was all for an illusion of freedom and sanity that never existed.

Thank you. I am home now, and will do my part, as is Their will, to dismantle your walls and your paltry soldiers who defend it - not out of vengeance, but in order to defend Creation not just from your insane quest for Oblivion, but also to Illuminate to the world that your promises are nothing more than empty lies.

Very much looking forward to seeing you on the field, and sending you and your political buddies to the Halls. Again.

Your grateful former citizen,

Shecks, the serpent

Penned by my hand on the 5th of Phaestian, in the year 848 AF.
