I post here to put to rest once and for all the subject of sacrifices at our Shrines..
Sacrifices are made to the shrines using LIVE animals ONLY. Dead bodies, sentient or not are not accepted as suitable for a sacrifice by the Gods.
So for Servelan to state that, and I quote `many witnesses have seen certain Templars slay others, grab the bodies and hotfoot it back to a shrine.` just proves that she likes standing on her head and speaking from her unholy arse.
As far as the nameless Serpentlord supposedly having actually witnessed human sacrifice.. well I can only reiterate Alanna`s statement that a nameless witness is no witness at all.
And finally, to answer your endlessly repeated question Servelan, `Why is there human blood on the church shrines?` THERE IS NOT! it is ANIMAL BLOOD. If you actually listened to people, instead of being lost in the misguided, untruthful and befuddled
