Costuming and murder!

Mayaween lovers,

I am excited to announce that my personal costumier, Christoph, is now taking requests for custom costumes! You need only find him in the eastern bedroom in my mansion, and then hand him a letter with the following information:

* A single word description of the costume, for cataloguing purposes. NOUNS ONLY.
* A description of what you should look like wearing the costume when someone first spots you in a room.
* A description of what you should look like wearing the costume when someone looks at you more carefully. Do NOT go overboard with your descriptions, keep them under five sentences, and do not bother trying to tell my costumier what materials to use or how to style them! Only focus on the image you should project in your costume. Be creative! You may be realistic, or you may be fantastic (within reason).

Absolutely NO dressing up as Gods or other adventurers! Neither of these are very good for the health of anyone.

In addition, you may remember that one of the very special events for my Mayaween party is a murder mystery! For this, some of you will be the participants and become embroiled in your very own deathly drama.

Once you are accepted, you will be assigned an original character to play in this story. I will provide you with a background and general notes on your character, along with a costume so perfect that you will flawlessly assume your new identity. From there, it will be up to you to survive and solve the mystery - assuming you are not the killer!

Applications may be sent to me by letter through the messenger boy on the Delosian bridge. They should include an assurance of your availability for my party along with a short explanation of why you would be interested and suited for this specific activity. Previous experience in acting or other theatrics is a plus, but not required.

Always,
Maim de Vermiis.

Penned by my hand on the 9th of Lupar, in the year 841 AF.
