You're proving my point.

That you even claim that I'm trying to "humanise" the Tsol'teth suggests that you and your fellows have so convinced yourselves of their monstrosity that you are unable to even perceive them as a people who live and think and act for their own motivations. It demonstrates your unwillingness to perceive the world as anything but pure black and white. Such is the worldview of those who let fear and hatred govern their actions.

By letting these base emotions rule you, by refusing to consider viewpoints that do not align with yours, by dismissing anything outside your personal experience as "other" and ostracising those who dare to question and seek answers outside Cyrene, you stunt your own growth. The infantile attitudes apparent in the recent slew of posts by Cyrenians - including yours - illustrate this perfectly.

I'm glad you agree that Hashan flourishes when it embraces Darkness. Such has indeed been my experience as well, whether as Peasant or Seneschal, or now Regent. There is much overlap between the ethos of Darkness and Progress, which you would know if you bothered to do your homework before rushing to run your mouth in public.

I would also suggest refining your attempts at personal insults. Randomly throwing a slew of darts hoping one hits simply weakens the overall effect.

Tired of babysitting,

Penned by my hand on the 20th of Scarlatan, in the year 836 AF.
