My bid for Conclave

Greetings denizens and adventurers,

In response to the recent proposed referendum, I address you today on behalf of my campaign for consideration for the Fifth Seat in the Conclave. I address the greater masses of Sapience with intent to express my intent on behalf of the greater masses, and not only as a member of the Village or representative of Nature, and with dire concerns about the motivations and means of a number of my cohort. I humbly request your consideration outside of factional and political leanings, to be your representative to the Conclave, and this is why.

While it would be easy to distance the events of the Black Wave and this current opportunity for referendum, I see them as fundamentally linked. The barrier that was destroyed was of the Conclaves own. The importance of the Conclave is paramount, and the person elect for this position should value the lands in which we live above all else. Many of those elect in this referendum have been silent for centuries or have had little impact or interaction with you. Can you trust that someone who you dont know to fully represent your best interest, or will they simply seek to further their own unknown goals.

To the members of the White Wave. While in some ways the fanfare of that war has died down, there are still tangible reminders for the City of Cyrene about what occurred. Many have not forgotten what was lost to the Tsolteth, and who stood up and who stood aside, including those who fought alongside you in order to recapture your City, against threat of mutual destruction.

We saw ourselves, during the most recent Black Wave, the efforts of the TsolTeth to undo that which the Conclave put in place, the barrier to the Underrealm. It would suffice to say that further efforts rooted in so called Progress, would only seek to undermine the Conclave at its foundations. The city states and Village of Sapience banded together to drive back the encroaching purple fog and the creatures who had been enslaved to the Tsolteth, even against the whims of dissent in their City. We have seen what Hashan is capable of when they place their own selfish desire for power above others. Why would we invite this once again?

What I will say on behalf of myself in this referendum is that I will seek the influence and knowledge on behalf of the betterment of Sapience, against those foul actors who seek to corrupt , unmake , or seek dominion over the lands. That being said, if I am chosen for this position, I will take consideration of all viewpoints, despite your standing to the Village to which I call my home.

When you cast your vote, please consider me for your choice for the Conclave.

I am willing to respond to responses or questions in person or on the boards, as long as they show some forethought.
