Two sides to every story...

Nhakra,

Thank you for correcting my comment about wooden buildings. However, my point still stands that Nature provides dwellings for all sentient beings initially, whether they are grown or man-made. That there were sentient beings on that distant planet is evidence that there was Nature.

I drew the conclusion that Eleusis has fallen in their duties towards Nature based on their inaction following the disappearance of the planet, and based on Torrent's response to Lenn's post. To the fist point, immediately following the disappearance of that planet Targossas responded. Lord Babel sent his Hunter after them, and they beat it back and caused it to flee their city. That's dedication to their cause. That's commitment. That's a willingness to defend their beliefs with their own blood. Eleusis was silent.

Torrent's response was clearly unconcerned about the loss of Nature, even if it is on a distant planet, nor for the potential for a similar fate to befall our own planet. Instead he dismisses the concern out of hand. If Torrent does not speak for all of Eleusis, then by all means put action to words and openly oppose the Chaos that is destroying Nature.

As to Ashtan's influence on Eleusis, one only has to wait until the next time Ashtan defiles Lord Twilight's shrines with Eleusians following along to see it with their own eyes. That Eleusis would cooperate with Ashtan to attack another Divine says everything that needs to be said on that.

Let me be perfectly clear - I would rather see Eleusis openly oppose my fellow occultists and I for our use of Chaos than to stand idly by and show no concern at all when Nature dies, whether here or on another world. Indifference and unconcern towards your own founding purpose is much worse than opposition.

No, that doesn't make sense, but that's Chaos for you.
