Indeed we know the story of Seleucar, yet you season your telling of it heavily with your interpretations. An example of an opinionated scholar. "Glorious Seleucar", "Destined for greatness", "Pinnacle of mortal accomplishment", indeed you lack the ability to look beyond words written in a book. Let us look further, shall we?
It is true that the Creator sent Nicator visions of the Black Wave, as well as gave him the staff that conquered all other cities. It is no secret that Sarapis, once Proteus, fully endorsed and supported the Human race, for it was He that decided to gift them our world by His divine right, something that sparked the legendary conflicts we all know of. Humanity showcased its chaotic nature well with the many wars it brought forth, a cycle of building and destruction. The Creator is not without flaw, that much has been shown to us from history, and it seems His love of this race and assistance to it may well be another to remark. I would enjoy debating this further should one wish it, but that is not the main point to address at this time.
Your retelling of history is also incorrect, or perhaps your wording of it. The Sapient league is not the force that removed Castomira, but rather that was by Catarin and the fighters she gathered. The Sapient league came much later, a group of cities and villages that sought to finally end the Seleucar Empire and usher in a new age, our age, of a world without their overbearing influence.
Davis Kephry also did not assist the Seleucar Empire to "glorious heights" as you stated. Perhaps you mean Damen Kephry, his ancestor? Davis Kephry was one of the biggest advocates to removing the Seleucar Empire and helped bring about the resistance that finally did.
You stated: "You may use history to support your stances, but when you do use it, please ensure that you understand what you have read in entirety before doing so to avoid accidental embarrassment.", I would suggest you take your own advice in this case.
As for the Tsol'teth, my opinion was made clear. If Cyrene is the cost of this advancement, then dare I say we have struck a bargain...
