Recently, you have professed to become a basion of science and advancement. Sadly, the sinister umbra of influence you desire to enshroud the land with is but a pale, dim cloud wafting aimlessly, without purpose, upon the currents of mediocrity. Under your Seneschal's unparalleled leadership, Hashan has seen a gross decline in both perceived and practical power, having driven away many of your former citizens, as well as reclaiming Hashan's crown of obscurity. The Crown of Ithmia, indeed!


And now you profess to bestow upon others the knowledge of your city.. knowledge which, by all accounts, would deprive any who seek it of their sagacity and sanity. Woe, what a morbid, yet enlightening charade the Hashani have concocted now. But worry not, Sapience, you need not waste your hard earned gold upon these pretenders, for who but a fool would partake in Asmodron's "Leadership 101", or Krizal's paltry attempt at granting the knowledge of mining when each are so soundly destroyed by those who have obtained true mastery of these things?


Only under the duress and challenge of Evil can one truly obtain mastery of any knowledge. Mhaldor, the holy baation of Lord Sartan, boasts the most prolific combatants, the most avid hunters, the most successful miners, and the most able leaders the world has ever witnessed.


Thus, a challenge, Hashan! The Black Hand of Lord Sartan shall pit any of its elite followers against your professed "teachers" in any subject in which they share mastery. Let it be known, once and for all, that the facade of Hashan's thinly composed confidence shall be stripped bare, and the lie of their claim of any "knowledge" shall be exposed.
