We had thought at first to ignore your lettered demands entirely. However, realising the current trend to claim victory before hostilities have even been declared, we thought better of it and wish to state our response unequivocally.

The Aegean Army is a mailed fist, striking together at the time and place of our own choosing.

We are not an outstretched palm indulging the whims of those who lack a basic understanding of War's finer aspects and whose arrogant conquests bear no appreciation for meaningful conflict.

Meaningful conflict is when both sides have the opportunity to practice the tenets of Warfare and grow from the experience of a well fought victory or defeat. When no amount of preparation, planning, and execution will make a difference to the outcome, no sensible General will decide to grace the battlefield.

Your proposed terms are nothing more than an attempt at subverting and subjugating the Aegeans to your Master's will, and they are rejected.

When you are prepared to set terms for the initiation of conflict worthwhile for both sides, we shall consider them. Until then, we will not waste our time with demands that ignore the fullness of War's grasp.
