The folly of a madman

Driden,

Indeed, I do not serve any Divine. I simply recognise Their ability to eradicate my being from existence, something you'd do well to understand, I'd wager.

You speak of Lord Thoth, The Endbringer. The one who was killed by the Prince of Undeath whilst serving the will of the Tsol'teth, to bring about The Genesis? I dunno about you but I wouldn't put that in the same realm as us mortals. Which topic are you gonna turn to next? Oh I know! Perhaps Lady Tarah being devoured by the undead Lord of Dragons, Sycaerunax whilst being influenced by the Worldreaver? There's a pattern to these musings.

You're rather silly if you think mortal worship had anything to do with Their ability to stop Their deaths. The victory writes history, because they're victorious. You seem to not be realising this very well.

Why would I look towards trees, if it's victory I want? Better yet, why would I join a man whose mind is evidently so far gone, if it's victory I seek. Seems rather counterintuitive if you ask me.

~Pyori.

Penned by my hand on the 1st of Daedalan, in the year 769 AF.
