Driden,

As someone who serves no God, I feel the need to point out from an unbiased viewpoint, that your missive is still filled with a number of falsities. Since you claim to not be a mad man, and then go on to well... Rave like a mad man.

Number one, the Divine do not thrive on worship nor do They require it from us. The fact that They were around long, long before us proves as much. They do not suffer or wither, if mortals choose to forsake them. You should go back and study history, it will show such.

Number two, you speak of pawns. You're a hundred and seventy years old, and only just coming to this realisation? When one fights for their God, and fights to carry out Their will, yes that is the very definition of a servant, or pawn as you say. In case you haven't noticed, there's quite a lot of people who're nothing if not eager to do just that, if it means they get to kill people like you. There is no "blinding by the Divine" to do this; I think you'll find pretty much all of them do it out of free will, through a desire to spill blood.

Finally, mortals do not stand above Divine. That's probably the most confusing part of your post, to be honest. Where you drew such a conclusion, I would be perhaps interested in finding out. It was, after all, by Divine will that the very cosmos itself was created, and the land you live on.
