The Sanguine Series

Hail, Sapience.

As promised, I am pleased to announce the start of the Sanguine Series.

The Sanguine Series is a ritual duelling tournament held within Sabarian Hall, located in the Northern Vashnars.

Any who wish to qualify for contention in the tournament need only complete a minimum of two ritual duels with different people within Sabarian Hall, arbitrated and witnessed by a member of the Carmine Circle (See CLHELP TCCIRCLE).

There are only eight places in the finals (date will be determined after the participants are confirmed). One place is set aside for one person from each city who completes the highest number of duels among their citymates.

The remaining two are for the two people who complete the next highest number of duels, and these two can be from any city (or rogue).

In the event that a city has no ritual duelist that qualifies, that will be an open spot for any nationality.

The winner of the tournament will have his or her duel commemorated within Sabarian Hall. All participants will be noted into a tome about the Sanguine Series, which will be available in the library.

The qualifications period for the Series will run for a full year, beginning from now till 1 Valnuary 766AF. Myself and my Keepers - visible on CLHELP TCCIRCLE - will also be announcing open arbitration periods where we will be available for arbitrating.

You may approach any member of the Circle for assistance with arbitration, though Keepers and Exemplars should be first. All parties involved must send myself a message noting who duelled, what classes were involved, the stage it was fought on and the outcome of the duel.

If you wish to try your hand at ritual duelling but are unfamiliar with the rules, they are set out in a tome in the library within Sabarian Hall. Otherwise, you can speak to myself or any member of the Circle.
The Carmine Circle, as always, is a neutral organisation open to all. Any may join to learn about ritual duelling and challenge others at any time.

I hope to see participation from all walks of life. Ritual duelling has the potential to add a new dimension to our understanding and appreciation of combat, as well as sparking a different sort of dialogue between faiths than the usual raids.

For the thrill of battle,

Jurixe S. Nithilar
on behalf of the Carmine Circle

Penned by my hand on the 17th of Valnuary, in the year 765 AF.
