Ahh, Regent. I had a feeling you would try to concoct a rebuttal and pretend to speak with some authority on things you do not understand.
Do not lecture me on the history of Occultism or Chaos. I was a practioner long before you were born and a proud member of the Great House of the Occultists, the preeminent institution in Sapience devoted to the study of Chaos and the Occult. Your insistence that Hashan has the right to stand on the shoulders of those who came before proves the Court of Shadows does not appreciate, let alone understand, the gift you have been graciously given. Your Occultists serve yet some purpose to the Chaos Court but your insolence is not with consequences.
Should you wish to cut yourselves off you have but to only continue on your present course. Your arrogance and sense of entitlement has drawn the attention of your betters. Already your citizens are forbidden from using the arts of the Occult against the Seat but if you find that is not enough, your wish will be granted.
Remember your place and do not pretend that your presumptuousness will go unnoticed. You walk this path at your own peril.
