So be it

Written by: Tyndran Proficy, the Tyrant
Date: Wednesday, June 7th, 2017
Addressed to: Ahura Rangor Corten, Hierophant of Eleusis

I relax my grip to show a resemblance of mercy, and it is taken for weakness; a mistake that will not be made again. After my discussion with your Speaker and again with you today, this much has been made clear: You are highly delusional of your position within this confrontation.

Your attempt of negotiations are foolishly shortsighted, as you offer nothing but scraps and try to insist I bend even more to your liking -- as if you are somehow in any position to stipulate mandates. I commend your arrogance, admire your spirit, pity your fate, and look forward to your demise.

My campaign continues to end the assault of the forests upon my citizens. If your people continue to work towards our detriment, then they too will be burned to ash and brushed aside. You have volunteered yourselves for the burden as stewards of the woodlands that strikes against our forces, and will now be shown the same civility that the wildlife have shown my people.

~~The Tyrant

Penned by my hand on the 1st of Aeguary, in the year 744 AF.
