Greetings from Ashtan once more.
First a recap and announcement in regards to the recent events.
The Great Plague!
Novices from all over the world scrambled around cities, bringing slaughter upon the masses! A great squeaking could be heard as they died en masse to the talents and skills of the novices.
The winner, hailing from Cyrene, was Janella, who slaughtered nearly 300 rats within the day of the challenge. Ashtan wishes all to be strong and ready for the Ascension, so with that in mind, the Greatest Ratter was rewarded with 1000 lessons so that she could progress her skills and grow in strength!
Well done Janella! Also congratulations to the rest of you who took part and flexed your skills of rat murder!
It Was This Big!
Our second event was a simple fishing contest. With two days to catch fish either out at sea or in their favourite river, the contestants baited, cast and lured the fish to their hooks.
There were two classes and therefore two winners!
In the river category, Allysitia won. Catching a 48lb pike with her casting skills!
In the deep sea category, Miriew won. Catching a 365lb tuna!
That's a lot of sushi!
The winners were each given a special customised fishing pole that matched the category in which they took part.
And they are off jerking them as we speak!
Riddle me this!
Now, with the success of the first two events, I am pleased to announce that our next event is a riddle. One that will send you running all over the world!
It is open to all those who are not enemied to Ashtan, any age, any city! If you think you have the brain power to solve the dastardly puzzles, then send me your name.
There will be excellent prizes for the first person who complete all the riddles correctly. And a runners up prize for the second and third, so all is not lost if you're not quite so quick as the rest.
The start of the riddle will be 22nd of Aeguary, year 710. So you have till then to enter!
Prizes will be announce closer to the time.
Still an enemy to Ashtan? Time has been waived for most people, leaving only the fine to pay, so if you wish to take part, you can do so quite easily.
Looking forward to hear from people wanting to take part.
