Chaos and the Storm

The Malevolent Lord has long taught of the benefits of hardship and pain. Through adversity, through struggle, we grow in mind, body, and spirit to become more refined versions of ourselves than we were before. Whether it be the ravages of wind and lightning, the wounds of battle, the breaking of the mind, or the struggles of the heart, facing this Suffering gladly does indeed bring Strength.
You speak of fear of the unknown, Sky Worshipper, so I will say this: Fear is merely weakness of the mind, resulting from too much comfort and too little challenge in one's life. When one embraces Suffering, there is nothing left to fear, be it Chaos or anything else.
The error in your train of thought, however, is where you bid this realm to remain ignorant of the now-called "Seat of Chaos"'s true purpose or, perhaps, merely the true purpose of its puppet masters: to deliver this realm unto the realm of Chaos with as little resistance as possible. There is no struggle to be had in a state of non-existence. There is no glory to be had in a realm where individuality is not even present.
Make no mistake, it is not daring to play with Chaos in the manner your Nihilist friends desire to. It is foolish.
Should one truly wish to face hardship and weather their own storms, to be born anew in Strength - not a temporary Strength that will apathetically be abandoned to the Void but a lasting Strength that will continue to fight for the survival and improvement of sentient life for all time, then one need only look to the West.
