A Few Words (Well, few for me!)

I have been asked to write about some events which occurred over the past many decades.
Written without duress, from the heart, and honestly - for I know not how to do or be anything else.
And that is part of what I address. At times my words, my posts, come across more personal than I intend, and I sometimes forget to think and then think again before speaking or writing, so my point is sometimes lost in what then comes across as attack as I make a direct point without finding a less sweeping, more precise, or careful phrasing.
I regret this. I have a lot of respect for those who dedicate their lives to Nature. It is not an easy road we travel together.
I understand this, and have worked hard at learning to choose my words more carefully to ensure that none could take them as a personal attack. I will continue to work on this, and will also remember to remind myself that not all thoughts need to be shared immediately, or at times shared at all.
Next, although neither Rangor nor I recall the incident, I took him aside privately, of my own volition, to apologize to him. I wish to further note that if anybody believes that I ever spat at, or towards, Rangor, or if I did it and simply do not recall doing so, I regret even that action and regret even the perception as well. That is not something I would ever want to be known for doing, or want to have done. I have spoken privately with Rangor about this, and, at least as relates to this incident, which neither of us recall, he bears me no ill will.
Lastly, and most important of all, there was a time, a few times, when there were discussions regarding the directions those who are of Nature were to take. Many occurred during the joyful time right after we had the Lady Gaia returned to us!
I have sometimes been told I am too black and white about some things.
Well, I am black and white when it comes to putting Nature above all else, but forestals do not always agree on how that should be done, and many of us, possibly most of us, myself included, see greys.
I regret that in thinking about some of those greys, sometimes aloud, discussing some of those greys, even debating some of those greys, I was understood to not believe that Lady Gaia was a Divine of Nature.
Nothing could be further from the truth. Those who recall my youth know that I came to these lands in search of the Lady Gaia, and for a long time had Her name written across my body, as I searched the lands for Her.
At that time She was not to be found, and along the way I discovered a love of the Hunt, and a great respect for the Lord Lupus, the Patron of my first Guild, a great love for the Lady Pandora, who still speaks to my heart and soul for the sheer joys of life itself, its little smiles, and of course my own Lady Artemis, Whose very existence exemplifies everything I was ever taught, learned, or believe to be my path as a nurturer, defender and protector of Nature.
But, have no doubt about it, I know that Lady Gaia is a Divine of Nature, and alongside my own Lady Artemis, Together they lead a group of dedicated forestals who will ensure the sanctity and security of Nature, above all else.
I very much regret that it was ever believed that I spoke or felt otherwise.
Simply,
Prythe
