A missive from the Holy City

Minister Xinna,
Your declaration is merely a chain of words, weightless and toothless when applied to reality.
If this world was the dominion of your Lord, then it would likely not so violently reject His touch - no, this world belongs to no God, but to all who inhabit this planet and this planet. The Bloodsworn, the beings of immeasurable wisdom that They are, recognize that this is a world that must be shared by those who inhabit it.
It is the right of every sentient being to seek the path of sustainable growth in the course of their lives.
Is it the right of no one, to inhibit the advancement of others and waste valuable potential by oppressing them and inflicting needless suffering.
This planet is not yours. This continent is not yours. And, before too long, you will be hard-pressed to consider that cesspit of an isle as yours - for as long as the people of the Dawnspear still draw breath, as long as the Bloodsworn remain in eternal defense of the right to grow, your Lord will know dominion only over His city, and nothing more.
The Light and Fire lead. We never fail to follow.
A pox upon your house,
Aodfionn Wintermourne
