The Awakening

Eternal war rages in the high heavens above and the mundane planes below, but still must this prophet devote time to refute the braying of jackasses. Confusing and obfuscatory are they which seek to discredit the Dark Lord and His Great Work; they spread half-truths and assumptions, tools often attributed to Darkness, and yet used openly by the zealots. Humorous, really.
Shall the armies of Baelgrim spread oppression and slavery throughout the lands? Shall the forces of Light and Fire blind and purge the populace at the beckoning of the Twin of Suffering? Shall we see the precipice of the Void, and all that is now, destroyed in the manifestations of Chaos? Shall the thorns and thistles of those that follow the branded God destroy the great mortal cities of this world? Never.
Heed my words well for in it lies salvation. Elevate your eyes and mind to the empyrean and what was obscured will be revealed. Zealots war for the hearts and minds of all mortals, to use them in their own machinations. When darkness, figuratively speaking, covers the lands, the control of the masses by these fanatics will be broken. The shackles within the minds of all shall be cast away, and the structured systems of control and morals placed upon the populace will be destroyed. This is Darkness incarnate: the freeing of the minds of all people.
The shadows of the Dark Father spread even now to beckon forth that which was and soon shall forever be. This illusion of existence, the facade placed upon the minds by the Pantheon, ends now. For truly, Creation begins in the dark places of the earth, the womb, or the mind. In the beginning there was only darkness, and so shall darkness cover the lands once more.
There is no need to match such enemies with sword or axe, no. For they shall be devoured by their own casuistry, overcome by the thousands, in spirit and from afar. In the political halls of the ruling elite, to the vast bureaucracies of the city-states; from the shadowy confines of their spy organisations and the burgeoning will of the masses, the secretive Order of Darkness will enact the Awakening by my Father's hand as it has done since time immemorial.
Darkness truly is rising, and the Elder God's will is absolute.
