Ravien,

You stand as the Speaker of the Eleusis, the intermediary between the natural and civilized worlds, yet the previous address from the Imperiate of Cyrene indicates that you wished a partnership with that city, all to back a fire-breathing dragon for leadership of the Conclave.

Have you forgotten your history, Ravien? I, as a founding member of Her Tribe, have not forgotten.

The events of my former Mother's birth are detailed in its 217th post, and tells the story of "the exiled forest spirit Propasia, once the guardian spirit of a forest in the Southern Vashnars which had long ago been razed for the building of Cyrene."

But this isn't just a story. Not to me.

I stood watch as Propasia touched the small yew in Lady Gaia's temple and was transformed into the Cataclysm. I witnessed Her anger firsthand, and let me assure you, Her anger was very real. She made it very clear that Cyrene, and cities like it, cities that destroyed the natural land to make room for their industry and buildings, were the enemy. Her enemy.

With the singular act of seeking aide from Cyrene, you have not only grossly failed Eleusis, but you have failed Her. I recall clearly now Her rage, and shudder to think how She might feel towards one of Her own desecrating Her tenets with such an ultimate betrayal.

Penned by my hand on the 25th of Ero, in the year 657 AF.
