The Dawnspear

Written by: Blackthorn General Rangor Corten, Guardian of Nature

Upon the eastern reaches of Sapience, the Bloodsworn Gods carved the land to Their whim, diverting the old Zaphar river to alter what was into what They desired, no regard or care given to the parts of Nature ripped out along the way. Instead, Their eyes remained solely upon Their singular goal of forming Creation to Their vision.

Out of this tragedy, new islands were formed, rivers flowed freely along their trek, and the flora and fauna thrived upon the destruction of what was.

Yet over this wonder, you laid down bricks and black stones, paved whole islands, constructed stately buildings and towering temples into the sky, ripping apart the natural beauty of the land itself.

When your city finally lies in the smoking remains of its ruins, the wilds will regrow and reclain what you have taken from Nature, entwining your crumbling walls into its eternal embrace.

- Rangor Corten, Guardian of Nature

"As you embrace the arms of Death, Nature lives on, eternal."

Penned by my hand on the 5th of Lupar, in the year 655 AF.
