Dear Achaeans,
All this talk of light and darkness and which comes first is interesting, but it does not transfer well to our current state. The current war is not between the order of light and the order of twilight; if it were, such references might shed more light on the situation. This war is between the followers of healing, faith, and cooperation and the followers of individual achievement, self-interest, and destruction. Although some might be members of a godly order, that is irrelevant to the war as a whole. This is a mortal war, between mortals who have chosen certain paths and means that have brought them into conflict. So, with all respect to the gods, who are indeed the ones who make all of this possible, I say that further posts should refer to the mortal side of things, rather than the godly one which we cannot comprehend.

They may be powerful, intelligent, and cunning, but they are, in the end, alone. Each looks out for himself only. Their cause is destructive and has no purpose without something to destroy. Our side, the side of unity and regeneration, may be less powerful, but we are united. Our feelings will never turn us against one another. We will never perish. Our goal is to enhance life for all. Our enemies are only a side note to our larger goal, an annoyance. To them, our destruction is the end. To us, their destruction will be a convenience.
Therefore, I say to the gods of achaea, thank you for bringing us here and giving us this great land. You all deserve more respect than we may ever give. To the mortals I say this.
