Greetings all!

Lord Scarlatti's Commune and His Scarlattans are proud to present our
-first- Artful Lottery! You'll have the chance to win your very own
custom work of Art, made-to-order in any theme of the winner's choosing.

The Scarlattans donating their time to this effort are also offering
unique and custom Lightweavings, which will be made to last several
years at a location of your choice. Lightweavings are the newest form of
Art gifted to mortals by the Great Bard, they are rare, the secrets of
their creation known only by His Children. A sample lightweaving, the
original one in existence in fact, is located in the Dancing Boar Inn of
Cyrene on the Main Floor. Otherwise, please feel free to contact a
Weaver, or the Muse, as indicated in CLHELP COMMUNE for more information
on what a lightweaving is if you have questions.

All prizes will be organized and coordinated via me, Chryseas, and
material prizes will be dispersed as soon as possible, while those
requiring creative efforts must be given allowance of time for
completion and review. Due to changes in schedules or the weaving of the
world, should any listed donator be unable to provide their prize,
accommodations will be made by a Scarlattan. However, the latter is our
assurance of due diligence in delivery, -not- a method to "change
prizes" to gain another artist.

The lottery is open to all and will run for 2 - 3 years from this date,
allowing plenty of time for people to purchase tickets. You may purchase
tickets from Delos, our lottery runner Chani, or a ticket box at "Rocky
outcropping" which leads to Caer Witrin, village home of the Temple of
Lord Scarlatti. For your convenience, and with our gratitude, Chani is
also willing to travel to your location if you wish tickets, please be
courteous and thank her for this service if you use it!

Next year, from Scarlatan 606 to Scarlatan 607 we will also be holding a
showcase in Delos' Scarlattan Theatre with canvases. Visitors will be
able to vote/select their favorite with the winning artist awarded and
recognized for the distinction. More details will come later as the date
nears.
