Professing miracles

Silas,

Your story is fascinating, but I find it a bit grandiose, perhaps even
exaggerated. You found a relic, an old book, imbued with old power. You
rubbed an ointment upon your Mark, or perhaps some fabulous blue light
shone forth from that ancient text and, as if by some reward for trial
and tribulation, your Mark is now gone. That anyone would believe your
Mark being removed is a sign of overthrowing Chaos and halting its
encroachment upon our realm, is just the type of herd mentality I would
expect of those self-professing followers of Light.

Your efforts to stop Chaos? imposition, valiant that they are, are about
as effective as lighting a torch in a squall to burn away the rain. That
Ayar Himself could not alter this outcome says a great deal. So Silas,
explain, if you will, how you intend to. The proclaimed representations
of Light, the Te?Serra, are but a whisper these days. There is little
doubt that were They possible of influencing Chaos, They would have.
That They have not?.could only indicate that They are not possible, They
accept Chaos? role as it exists today, or that They simply do not care.

I am not a follower of Oblivion, but nor do I blindly accept what one
may say, especially under the guise of theological enlightenment. I have
spoken with a few followers of Oblivion, attending the debates and
discussions that were openly available and that I was around to attend.
I?ve yet to see anything that indicates they have ambitions towards the
end of the world as we know it. Contrary to popular believe, it more
seems they simply accept the inevitable truth of the matter?.as did
Ayar.

To the masses reading this, I am not an advocate for either side, I
simply ask that you take time to ask the necessary questions, and seek
the necessary answers prior to making a life changing decision to serve
one faction or the other. Those who follow blindly can expect to be led
down a path towards a destination they otherwise may never have wanted
to visit. Sometimes you learn the things you place your faith in, have
wandered far from the original ideals that once lured you in, and have
lost their luster. One might stop and ponder why more people divert from
their original paths and make pilgrimage to Ashtan.

Regards,

Kresslack De?Verres
