Dear Sapience at large (and those of you who have been dieting),
It is my immense pleasure and pride to thank you all for your attendance
to the CIJ Festival this past month. Your participation, help, enjoyment
and co-operation made the event the success that it was. Tales will be
told to future generations of the magnificence of the crowds that
attended and their support.
Most importantly, though, is the work that went on behind the scenes and
in the performances from the Jesters who attended. I never thought I
would see a show of this quality of teamwork in my lifetime, and
thinking about it brings a happy tear to my gorgeous green eyes.
The co-operation of the Garden and Lord Scarlatti were immense factors
to the event's success. May we forever throw gold into the air and
receive balloons back down by their graces.
Only through a huge combined effort could such a thing come to pass.
In the end, this is why the Institute exists. A catalyst of
entertainment, co-operation and joy - whether your joy is found in
riding a carousel, collecting shiny historical items, watching
performances or being set on fire. None of this would've happened
without the event, and a world where nothing happened would be a very
dull one indeed.
- With sincere gratitude,
H.C. Beya Storm.
Lastly, thank you to those who provided myself and our performers with
mental and physical security when all things seemed they were going to
pot.
You may never comprehend how valuable and appreciated you are.
Penned by my hand on the 4th of Scarlatan, in the year 599 AF.
