Eleusians are many things. I would not call any of them greedy, but I do
not claim to be expert. That said, you get what you deserve. You, a
thief famous for goldlust, are as qualified to give advice on courtesy
and charity as a fish is qualified to tell me how to walk on land.

Stand up for your actions. Do not try to blame Eleusians for your own
mistakes. These things happen, and we learn from it. Throwing fits does
no good for anyone.

If you rob forestals, you will be hunted. As long as your head is taken
for an example to other thieves, how you die is not my concern.
