Bluef Vor'ad, the Somnolent Wytch

Aodfionn,

In the interest of truth, allow me to correct what you've said about
Bluef's time in the Sylvanic Fellowship. I understand that competence,
talent, good management, and industry might be foreign concepts to some
members of the Sylvanic Fulcra, but those attributes, along with
kindness and good will, were all I saw Bluef exhibit during her time in
the house.

It wasn't Bluef who hungered for power, but those who fear to embrace
brilliance and passion. Envious, jealous and fearful, they panic at the
thought of losing control of the house they can no longer in their
senile paranoia manage with even minimal competence. Your post,
Aodfionn, is exemplary of why the Sylvanic Fellowship is doing so
poorly. If you speak for "those of us who didn't like how she planned to
change things" by mischaracterization and slander, then you merely
supply one more example why the whole house is in sad decline and will
continue in that direction until you re-embrace the true meaning of
fellowship, which apparently most leadership has long since lost to
vulgar spite and backbiting.

The truth is the leadership of the Sylvan house hounded out one of its
best hopes for any future beyond the interbred, brown-nosed legacy of
Longshanks. Bluef's failure to advance in the House owed much more to
not being related to the House Leader, which appears to be your sole
qualification, Aodfionn. Eventually, she became, rightly so,
contemptuous of being treated like an enemy than the fellow she was and
rather than bow to the nonsense of being asked to divorce her husband
for the privilege of "pleasing" the sorry lot of jerks treating her
badly, she washed her hands of you. Good call, Bluef.

The stars were bright that night.
