Greetings to all from the The Divine Order of Thoth,
We would hereby like to announce a poetry competition in honor of Lord
Thoth.
The instructions are quite simple, really. Just post your contribution
to the Poetry section of the news, by the last day of Mayan in year 569
after the fall of the Seleucarian
Empire. Winners will be announced shortly thereafter.
Please include the following line in your post in order to be eligible
for the competition: "in response to public news post #18771".
Apart from the above stipulation, there will be no requirements or rules
related to the composure or form of the poetry, as long as you feel it
adheres to the standards of the poetry news section.
The prizes will be as follows:
1st place awarded 20 credits*
2nd place awarded 10 credits*
3rd place awarded 5 credits*
*All above listed prizes will include a Divine favor of Lord Thoth's
choosing.
May the best poet win!
In His eternal service,
Utianima, Voice of Death
Penned by my hand on the 10th of Valnuary, in the year 569 AF.
