Your Posturing

Written by: Dread Overseer Darknight Sioraiocht-Sar'vet, Heir of Glanos
Date: Saturday, February 19th, 2011
Addressed to: Lord of the Morning, Caliph Lukis Op'Shae

Yes, wise Caliph. Yes. Run to the aid of the Jewel's crutch, and save it
from its own destruction. In its darkest hour, you know better than any
that it cannot survive alone. Save it! You must save it while you can!

You must save it before it can realize its own potential...

If you are truly as mighty as you claim, then break free from your
shackles and fight like a world power -- though, you and I both know
that will not happen. For the root of all the bloodshed and pain your
friends, citizens and neighbours now face is because of Shallam's
aggression. Caused only because Shallam deceived its so-called "allies"
into endless provocation. Caused only because Shallam, knowing that even
behind the protective covering of the Qashar it could not win, was
actually foolish enough to believe that it could deceive the world into
carrying out it's theological agenda and not be held accountable for it.
And so it was Shallam that marched the troops of Shallam, Eleusis and
Cyrene forward, secure in the effectiveness of its own machinations.

Let us not deny that we both know what is going on here - it is Shallam
that cannot stand alone. It is you that has failed. You have let down
your friends, predictably as always, by convincing them that behind
Shallam stands their only hope for survival. When do you think they will
realize it is only you that cannot survive alone?

Darknight Sioraiocht-Sar'vet
Overseer of Ashtan

Penned by my hand on the 7th of Ero, in the year 560 AF.
