Greetings, Sapience.

The esteemed missive of the equally esteemed Miss Jaisiane, formerly of
Ashtan, has no doubt brought a few questions bubbling to the fore.
Namely: "Who is this impetuous stray, this bedraggled Moon Street pup,
who topples her shelter to yowl so aimlessly in the cold? Whence sound
these tiny violins?"

She is the perennial assistant. Information has been vouchsafed to her
as an obligation of her role, and true to her cause, she has aided many.

However, it is not her traitorous intent toward Ashtan of which I spoke
to Miss Jaisiane; the Overseer Darknight Sioraiocht-Sar'vet has rightly
singled her out as a betrayer of the Bastion, and the Lord of Strife has
only confirmed her role. Rather, it is the Blighted West - the
nation-state that extends cordiality to such vulgar strays as her, even
now - that has misplaced its trust.
