While I currently enjoy the luxury of not being involved in this latest
development, I thought I must take a moment to commend you on the way
you and your people have finally, at last, openly embraced and spoken
the truth.

Many people have been chortling quietly over the years at the way the
Freedom espoused by you and yours has been cast aside to make room for
Suffering and Oppression. Though of course, congratulations should also
go to Sabiru and Herenicus for the way they have likewise, as leaders of
that bastion of discipline and obedience in the west, embraced the true
Ashtani ideals of Chaos, Freedom and doing whatever you want.

It is a rare and blessed day indeed, Sapience, when we should be treated
to the open and forthright denial and compromise of the ideals of not
one, but two great city-states. I know that I for one will long cherish
this declaration.

Truly, let it never again be said that only Shallam and the Church might
embrace hypocrisy. As you read the transcript shared so recently by
Father Coldraven - and I encourage you of course to do so again if your
memory of it is already fading - I urge you to remember that he has
since decided to follow suit, engineering the willful disregard of his
city's ideals for, no doubt, the convenience of Ashtan, and the
amusement of the general public.

So thank you Darknight, and thank you Herenicus, on behalf of us all.
