Imyrr,
I've never respected you, nor do I care to address you, but since you've
placed my name upon the boards I feel it only adequate to retort to what
I can only perceive as a smear campaign. Since your accusation isn't
even dated, I find it predictable that the more sheepish of your allies
and citizens are constantly gnawing at the back of my mind with their
idle threats and advice on how and when not to near your city. Whilst I
do not personally care for Ashtan, being largely populated by the dregs
of Sapience, I am inclined to abide by the laws set forth by my village
and I have done nothing other than exactly that. When your public post
arose, I was greeted by Pharaus asking me, "They're saying we raided
Ashtan?" I shrugged it aside at the time. Today Lothiac approached me,
forbidding me from nearing Ashtan, though I find his brutish approach
strange, since he has never been able to defeat me in battle. He brought
your public post to my attention.
Now, while I understand -why- you singled me out, being that I have
killed many of your citizens and caused you quite a few headaches in the
past, I fail to see why you would craft a story out of thin air like
this merely to throw around passive aggressive darts. If you do not wish
for a treaty, then do not agree, you are the leader after all, are you
not? Don't utilize negotiations and then attempt to use framing con-jobs
in order to weasel into the decision-making of Eleusian leadership. This
thinly veiled attempt to oust key individuals from Eleusis will not
succeed purely because the council of Eleusis isn't that pliable, even
if your ego is large enough to convince you otherwise.
To be expected, there's one speck of truth in your entire post, and that
is the mention of Exain's name. When I asked him about it, he admitted
to raiding your city, he also declared his distaste for your city. So
really, you turned Exain into 'Pharaus, Darroth and Agathon' along with
your deep-seeded hatred for the Qashar. Over the thankfully few run-ins
I've had with you I've deducted that you're an egotistical man with
delusions as to what Chaos is and even less knowledge on what Evil is.
So how you are an esteemed member of Babel's Order and a leader of a
city is baffling to me, I thought the eradication of ego was part of
embracing nothingness as an ideology, I would have also assumed that a
person so rooted in Chaos would understand that it does not require Evil
as a crutch to stand upon, as the two are not interchangeable in any
degree.
The Bastion of the North is supposed to be a city that stands for the
free will of its citizens, not unlike that of the village of Eleusis.
For you to turn it into a breeding ground for angered demi-Mhaldorians
and force them to embrace only your nihilistic viewpoints is to strip
that freedom. When I held discussions with Shecks prior to your debates,
we were the early instigators of the treaty and cease-fire between our
two settlements, for you to suggest I encouraged a halt to arms against
Ashtan and then directly engaged in a raid during debates is ridiculous,
not only false, when you direct your quill to the public news boards be
careful to scrawl the truth and maintain your credibility.
