Salutations, Ovid!
It is curious that you so eagerly vilify the Hashanites with flowery
rhetoric, writing page after page about their shortcomings. As all
denizens of Sapience know, you are a lake of mediocrity, a wretched pond
in which filthy and decadence thrive like so many maggots feasting on a
rotting corpse. Yet in your infinite wisdom, with a meager 57 years
beneath your belt, you come before the people of this land to speak of
Evil and Cruelty. I salute you for finding your senses and embracing the
cause, for you have turned away from your countless shortcomings in an
attempt to be something better.
Let there be no question: your post drips Evil, it oozes Oppression, it
weeps Strength. You speak of the victories you have wrought over the
feeble Hashanites, the murder you will inflict upon those simply doing
their jobs. You write of the application of pain until you get your way,
and murmur of the fire that will cleanse those who dare stand against
you. This crucial grasp of the concept of Cruelty is nearly enough to
stun me silent, were I not so busy offering my applause at the
tremendous way in which you have betrayed the ideals of those you would
fight for.
It is a great thing you do, this abandonment of mercy, this willful
elimination of conscience and this complete rejection of tolerance.
While Shallam mewls eagerly about the Light of Forgiveness, you have
stepped beyond their simple understanding to embrace the need to
strengthen body, mind, and spirit. Even as the Hashanites crumble
beneath your boot, you maintain your assault. Even as your organization
dwindles, you embrace the power of discipline and the need to purge the
world of weakness. Even as the armies of Mhaldor swat you and yours like
so many gnats, you bask in the hardship and strengthen yourself.
Well done, young man. I applaud the way you have shouldered the mantle
of Evil, and I can only hope that others eagerly follow your path.
