Public News Post #18350

Ashadra, Ravien, Eleusis, Hedwenn and more.

Firstly, I'd like to thank a few people for enabling me to make
responses as necessary. By name, Sir Draekar, m'lord Celsus, m'lady
Mindry, m'lord Caneloc, and last but by no means least, m'lord Zeneth. I
will attempt to repay you at such time as I am able.

The second order of business, the newest development in the Green
community. Namely, I have been discharged from the house. I would not
make any private replies, as per the last paragraph of my first post.
However, what I did say I will let all of you be privy to. It is as
follows:

>> Ashadra tells you, "How dare you call me out on the public news with
a hearsay discussion I had with one of my citymates about a problem she
had with someone that was asked to leave the city."

>You tell Praesulis Lunae, Ashadra Longshanks, Star-Shepherdess, "Do you
deny that you said it?"

>>You tell Praesulis Lunae, Ashadra Longshanks, Star-Shepherdess, "I
point you to the last paragraph. I will not respond in private."

>>You tell Praesulis Lunae, Ashadra Longshanks, Star-Shepherdess, "Good
day."

>>Ashadra tells you, "I am your House Leader...you will treat me with
respect or you will leave this House."

>>You tell Praesulis Lunae, Ashadra Longshanks, Star-Shepherdess, "I
shall not be leaving."

>>You tell Praesulis Lunae, Ashadra Longshanks, Star-Shepherdess, "I am
treating you with much more respect than your statement about my
girlfriend deserves."

>>Ashadra tells you, "Then I expect to know why you did this other than
to embarrass myself, my city, and this House."

>>You tell Praesulis Lunae, Ashadra Longshanks, Star-Shepherdess,
"M'lady, please make a public post, or do not question it."

>>Ashadra tells you, "I will not waste my gold on your idiocy, answer me
or leave...or I'll show you the door."

>>You tell Praesulis Lunae, Ashadra Longshanks, Star-Shepherdess, "If
you kick me out, how would that reflect on the house?"

>>(Sylvans): You say, "Must I be subject to our House Leaders threats?"

>>(Sylvans): Ashadra says, "When I get called out for a -private-
conversation with one of my citymates, you should not expect to be
treated nicely. Your behaviour is not befitting this House. Do not bring
your drama to this House channel."

*Note, the above mentioned private discussion includes the insult
described in 18348, said to someone about Hedwenn, and about Sirens.*

>>(Sylvans): You say, "Said citymate is the one who deemed it necessary
to be shared. I will respond to you on a public post, if you wish. I
will even go so far as to fund your post, if you are that poor. A number
of interested parties have given me gold to make replies."

>>(Sylvans): Ashadra says, "I will not respond to that idiocy you call a
public post. You got third party information about a private
conversation that was none of your business nor was it said third
party's right to be telling anyone outside the city what is said in our
logs."

>>(Sylvans): You say, "That may be, if that is your issue, take it up
with said third party."

>>(Sylvans): Ashadra says, "Oh trust me, I will be."

>>(Sylvans): You say, "However, my post is not idiocy."

>>(Sylvans): You say, "It is a well thought out criticism of Eleusis,
Logistics, and you."

>>(Sylvans): You say, "I shall put into my next post, however, the
threats you have made, and the things you have said, if you do not wish
to respond."

>>(Sylvans): Ashadra says, "Logistics does not intimidate people unless
they give him a problem. He is a very respectful person, a Leath-ri with
the right to tell anyone to leave the city if he feels they are not
welcome there. Necromancers are not welcome in our city."

>>(Sylvans): You say, "Since when? And then, why did Logistics tell
Hedwenn to enjoy your city when he unenmied her?"

>>(Sylvans): You say, "Or did you not know that it was him who did that
deed?"

>>(Sylvans): Ashadra says, "I save the logs, I know exactly who enemies
and unenemies."

>>(Sylvans): You say, "Check them."

>>(Sylvans): You say, "4 years ago, about."

>> (Sylvans): Ashadra says, "This conversation is done. I will not
further have this House channel sullied by it or your need to try to
blackmail me."

>>(Sylvans): You say, "I agree. I suggest you write a post or forever
hold your peace with how the posts others write turn out."

>> You have been cast out from the Sylvanic Fellowship by Ashadra.

At this point, I ceased all communication with Ashadra. The following
are responses to people, calls for people to respond, and some of my
feelings and opinions.

To Ashadra: M'lady, I have stayed calm in the face of your anger. I did
not leave your house, despite my desire to, due to my love for Nature.
However, you lost all control, and discharged me for no reason other
then I have questioned you. Is this how you protect your house? Is this
how you protect you position within the house? It is a poor reflection
on you and the Sylvans that when you insult someone's beau, and are
called out for it, that you respond with rash decisions and harsh words.
I used to respect you, as did much of Sapience. I think that this action
has most likely earned you the loss of that respect. As for calling my
previous post idiocy, I beg to differ. Many have expressed there
feelings of my post to me, and none of those feelings have been
negative, except for those from you and others within our house. Still,
all others expressed at least a respect for it, even if it was not
universally liked. I called for you to respond in a post first in tells,
then on the house channel, and now I call you to respond from the public
boards themselves. All further communication from you will merely be
ignored, saved, and posted. Think carefully what you say, m'lady. You
still represent the Sylvanic Fellowship.

To the Sylvanic Fellowship: Apparently, the reason I was kicked out was
for rudeness. I leave you to decide who was rude to who, and who tried
their hardest. Please, at the very least, do not condem me. Ashadra has
in effect acknowledged that she spoke the insult, and I have every
reason to be upset with her about it. It is a poor reflection on your
house that you back her up despite the lack of rudeness which she claims
I have shown. If my memory of what was said on the House channel is
incorrect, please correct me. If my memory of the telepathy is false,
correct that too.

To Ravien: First, I'd like to say the following. Hedwenn and I are two
halves of a whole. Anything said to one of us is said to the other, and
anything said by one of us comes from the other. Now, I shall answer
your points one at a time.
1. You say Necromancers are not welcome within your Village. I say that
you are quite mistaken, that it is only certain Necromancers who are
unwelcome, namely whoever you choose to be unwelcome. To whit:

(Name withheld upon request) tells you, "Allright, basically, I respect
you trying to assist your girlfriend, and if the post had beneficial
effects, I am glad for you. I just wanted to suggest speaking directly
to the Eleusian Council. I am a Necromancer, Mhaldorian for MANY years,
and was never enemied to Eleusis despite entering many times. I now spar
there and wander through on occasion with no consequence, still being a
Necromancer."

2. Hedwenn did nothing but muse over the fact that the killer had said
that. She did not imply that it should be followed, but was musing,
trying to figure out why two people she has noticed hanging around the
base of the gatehouse in the past would be fighting each other and
saying such things.

3. Thank you kindly for your apology, but you can not apologize for
Ashadra. There is only one in these realms who has that power, and she
refuses to respond, and indeed cast me from the house, saying I was
"rude" to her. This is reflecting worse and worse on that house, and on
the city that that house is in.

4. (Your refusal to waste more gold) If you have that little gold, due
to the kindness of many in these realms, I have enough for you to make
another post, so as to not wast your gold. I made the same offer to
Ashadra, and was quite blown off. I respect you, and don't think you
would do the same.

Other random thoughts for Ravien: When Hedwenn was unenemied four years
ago, she was invited to explore the village and make use of the library.
This is not something you should generally invite someone to do if you
don't welcome their type in your village. Although I may be mistaken
about who did the unenemying, I am fairly certain it was Logistics. If
not, it was obviously another of the Leath-ris. I urge you to take the
time to look in your books and see who did the unenemying. I think you
may be surprised.

To Logistics: Why do you not respond? I want to hear your side, and hear
what you observed. Come, lets not be silent, Dreamer Ta'sa.

Penned by my hand on the 7th of Valnuary, in the year 528 AF.
