Hedwenn says with a light Mhaldorian accent, "I was a Mhaldorian when I
first set foot in Eleusis. I was told to leave and did so. I was later
enemied through a minor portals accident (went south, southeast instead
of just southeast to Minia). I left Mhaldor before I turned nineteen and
sought to become unenemied to Eleusis and Cyrene (which had enemied on
my first visit). I cannot remember which one I talked to, but I
consulted a Leath-ri and became unenemied."
Hedwenn says with a light Mhaldorian accent, "I was accosted by one or
two who remembered me from my previous short visits so I tended to
wander Eleusis shrouded except when I was in the library. There was not
much traffic there and I was interested in the literature on the
bookcase. Botany especially, but anything was something I would read. I
tried to stay out of the way. Be quiet.
Hedwenn says with a light Mhaldorian accent, "This time... I had
wandered away from the library because a few Viridi were making use of
it and I did not want to distract them (or be distracted myself. I had
checked out a few works and wanted to read them before my day was up.
Books are expensive to check out). I moved away to read them all. Upon
finishing, I decided that after a four-year presence, I could afford to
socialize at the base of the gatehouse. Those who had given me grief
were not around and I knew a few were friendly."
Hedwenn says with a light Mhaldorian accent, "I was also attracted to
the base because I saw a deathsight involving two people who frequented
the room."
Hedwenn says with a light Mhaldorian accent, "The soul of the loser (a
former villager and Sentinel) floated in and asked for a ressurection.
The victor then walked in and ordered those present not to ressurect the
loser despite his former alliegance. The man was ressurected despite,
after the victor had tromped off and that was that. This deathsight
happened a second time, and once again the loser entered the room and
asked for a ressurection."
Hedwenn says with a light Mhaldorian accent, "I recollected aloud that
we were told rather rudely not to ressurect the loser. Said loser
apparently took offense to this and said (letter for letter) "Your a
rogue necromancer." and "Piss off." I replied that I at least knew how
to be polite and walked back to the library."
Hedwenn says with a light Mhaldorian accent, "That is how that event
played out."
Hedwenn says with a light Mhaldorian accent, "The next time I was at the
base, I spoke out loud in earshot of one of the Leath-ris. He considered
me, then informed me that Mhaldorians and their allies were not welcome
to Eleusis. I told him I was neither. He then pointed out my light
Mhaldorian accent. I replied that I was at one time a citizen of Mhaldor
and that I had also left the city. He insisted that anyone from Mhaldor
was not welcome. Feeling like I was about to get gutted and enemied, I
shrugged, surrendered, and left."
Hedwenn says with a light Mhaldorian accent, "Someone I knew a little
bit said that she would talk to people and get me let back in. I was
surprised she knew at all and that is was in the city logs. I believe
the exact entry quoted was thus: Logistics > Hedwenn is from the
Mhaldorian isle although does not retain citizenship. She was asked to
leave the city and did so. Tell to leave and enemy again if seen in the
city."
Hedwenn says with a light Mhaldorian accent, "She mentioned things and
made it seem like it wasn't just my accent that got me banned. My
apparent rudeness to the deathsight loser. The fact that I am a
twenty-three year old Siren who is barely ranked."
(At this point in her tale, my Girlfriend did not want to go into great
detail. With urging from me, I managed to get the rest.)
Hedwenn says with a light Mhaldorian accent, "I was told by her that
Ashadra said the following: Ashadra tells you, "She was being very nasty
to (name withheld, the soul from earlier in this account) when he was
looking to get a rezz for one, that I only caught the end of. Also, I
know the likes of sirens that choose not to do anything with themselves.
She's 23 years old and barely ranked. Likely she's someone's slave. We
don't need that sort of thing hanging around Eleusis."
This account is a direct account by my loving girlfriend, Hedwenn. From
here onwards are my feelings, and my comments.
First, I'd like to reply to my house leader, Ashadra.
During this time in the Lunar Cycle, many people take long naps, or
trips back home as I did. Every Logosmas, I take a trip to see my family
up north. Hedwenn was asleep during this time, and so had no chance to
gain strength. Ashadra, before you go accusing people of things, look to
your own house. Those who live in glass houses should not throw rocks.
Many of your Syvlans take far longer to reach my Loves might. Take me
for example: 28, and not much stronger then her, nor much higher ranked.
A difference of 200 ranking spots between us? 3033 or 3206? Does that
mean, Ashadra, that I must be someone's slave as well? When I entered
these realms this month, it was to a couple messages, outlining the
situation my Girlfriend was in. An addition, Ashadra, your racism
towards Sireni ill becomes your station. To assume that all weak Sireni
are whores or worse? You of all people should know better. As for
Hedwenn being rude to the poor, slain soul, I would say he was ruder to
her, and her only act was to ignore him. This shows maturity on her
part, not juvenile tendencies. All she did was wonder why the fight had
gone on between two people who she knew both frequented the same spot.
All she said was that the killer had warned the people not to rezz the
soul. How this constitutes rudeness, I don't know. Why that constitutes
rudeness, yet your claims about her do not, I also do not know.
Next, I'd like to reply to Logistics.
A light Mhaldorian accent constitutes being a resident of the Isle?
Since when? Hedwenn has lived in Eleusis 4 years now. Those of you who
have watched her probably noticed her accent is slowly fading. We can't
help our accent. She tried to inform Logistics of his mistake, and her
merely intimidated her and frightened her out of the village, then wrote
a log stating that she would be enemied if seen there again. From what
she remembers, no man nor woman actively told her of that verdict. Is
this how Eleusis is run? Frightening young, then not warning them what
will get them enemied? Hedwenn is a scholar, her knowledge far better
about nature then most. That you would kick someone like that out of
your village... It s blight on your village.
Third, I'd like to speak to all of you who will reply to this post.
I am but a poor Explorer from way up North. To make this post, I scraped
together every last sovereign I had to my name, and then went begging
for a few more. I will be making no responses, not unless one of you
wishes to provide me with the gold to make them publicly. I will make no
private responses, since those are easily twisted my malicious people.
My apologies, as this subject is one well worth the debate that is sure
to follow, but I have given you the whole story as I have it, and
anything more I could add would merely be stuff others can add as well.
Penned by my hand on the 16th of Ero, in the year 528 AF.
