Are you a Master Crafter?

Greetings to the people of Sapience,

I write to you on behalf of the Order of Lord Phaestus, the Smith.

This missive is intended to enlighten you upon a small aspect of the
Lord Smith and the Realm that He tends. I speak today to once again
bring to your attention the Master Crafters Awards program, hosted by
the Chosen of the Smith in order to bring recognition to those whose
actions are deemed worthy of the realm of Industry.

I am now opening the program up to nominations regarding the Crafters of
any craft; regardless of organizational and political ties or
theological bents. The only way that someone will not be included is if
they have pledged their life to the services of Oblivion, as these
forces tend to work against the nature of Industry and its goals.

Please forward the names of those who you feel would be worthy of
consideration as a Master Crafter to myself or any Chosen that you might
find. I do give fair warning to those who would post cunning remarks
that requests for a list of Chosen will be completely ignored. Seek out
those who make this world Industrious if you would find a Chosen to
speak with.

So that you may understand a bit about the Master Crafters Award program
and a small bit of what it entails, I shall post an excerpt below:

The Master Crafters Awards program was instituted to give the Chosen the
ability to give worldwide recognition to those in lands who have
achieved mastery of their craft and are worthy of promotion.

This we do to follow our Mandate from the Lord God, to promote and serve
Industry where ever we might find it and to sure those Industrious among
the world's population are given our resources to improve their craft
and prosper that the works of Industry might not only continue, but
flourish.

Master Crafters are nominated by the populace at large, and then the
Chosen consider the candidates with the advice of the Hand of the Smith
and the Council of the Forge to consider as they choose the top
candidates who's achievements, prowess, and dedication have helped them
achieve mastery of their craft.

To be considered a Master Crafter, one must be known for the quality of
their works and for actually caring to ensure that which they produce
has a purpose in this world. We are not talking about the person hastily
selling iron circlets they crafted within a minutes time, nor the
individual who randomly tailors sets of clothing but does not produce
nor offer his/her expertise to consumers or atleast to be used.

There are two tiers of Awards in the program. That of a silver medallion
and a gold.

The silver recognizes the master crafter who is has just obtained
mastery, who is known but not completely recognized or reknown. The
crafter who has found brilliance but not yet total control and promotion
of their crafts.

The gold is only granted to the greatest Masters of the crafts. Those
whose name rolls off of the tongues of most people when you ask who is
good at a certain craft. They spend their lives dedicated to their work
and strive to ensure that the world is made better by what they do.
Generally they are great promoters of their brand and always interested
in improving both their craft and their marketing.

------------------------------------------------------------------------
To date, the Order of the Smith has awarded these Master Crafter Awards:

Silver: To Tekla, for achievement in the world of tailoring.

Gold: To Sir Trey, for excellence in the art of creating from the Forge.
And Katia, to recognize her brilliance and longetivity at the top of the
tailoring world.

Penned by my hand on the 5th of Scarlatan, in the year 523 AF.
