Midnight Raids

"We understand that Midnight raids against a sleeping city have ever
been the fruit of a cowardly disposition, and it pains me to think that
your Ithmian Knights would tarnish their reputation for mere
expediency."
I assume that by this you mean raids when the opposing city has few or
less defenders.
In that case I wish to bring your attention to facts and reality. It is
no hidden truth that Mhaldor has over the years, only raided when the
defenders are few. Afterall, if the numbers are even you are always at a
loss. Just see the results of previous CTFs for that. In this last raid
I believe you were displaying "strength" in slaying serving wenches,
artists and our dear Lady of Doves who sends our letters for us. Your
numbers were indeed far superior to what Eleusis could muster, which
brings me back to midnight raids. This is what your kind does best, and
everyone else sees it.
During our last "midnight raid" on your city, we had the sense to rid
your city of your guards instead of battling the harmless denizens for 6
months straight. If you couldn't do the same when your army has twice
the numbers, it is clear who has the better soldiers and strategists.
Ithmian Knight,
Sir Rangor Corten,
Heart of Nature
Penned by my hand on the 10th of Ero, in the year 517 AF.
