I know that I cannot hope to ever be as eloquent as yourself, but I
still wish to offer you a small bit of advice.

The natural order of things is that the balance of power changes. Yes, I
will readily admit that things are not like they were 100 years ago,
when I in the splendour of my 154-year-old youth wrote to you last. But,
things aren't like they were 50 or even 20 years ago, either. This is
something you may want to contemplate, as you sit on your little red
island.
