I will keep this short and sweet.

I feel no pity for your situation. You took it upon yourself to attempt
to plunge one of, if not the most powerful city in Sapience into
complete and total civil war and anarchy. You then fled to cower and
hide in Petra, an ally of the city you attempted to dismantle. Your
actions and yours alone lead to the slaughter of the Petrans and your
late husband. There is nobody to blame for this but yourself.

To ask the rest of the world to come to your aide is repulsive. If you
prod a dragon with a stick, don't expect people to protect you from the
dragons wrath. This is common sense.

The people of Petra should consider these words and ask themselves if
they wish to keep someone who would plunge their people into war with
their long standing allies as their leader.
