Exhausting Oneself

In daily life, we are constantly consuming our energy because of our
duties to work, community, study, tension, stress and emotional ups and
downs. For many, the desire to fight their way to the top leaves them
too exhausted to enjoy it once they're there, if they even make it.
There are many ways to live, the most simple is one without struggling
to accomplish things. We have been conditioned by society to have
anxiety or worry for the future, we have been conditioned into sickness.
Only by becoming sick of being sick can one experience true healing. If
one were to live simply instead, they would be reaching the top by
floating to the surface, carried there because it is where their natural
destination is, like bubble of air in the ocean, moving through the
depths and darkness without fear, without force and without hurry.

For those exhausted from their struggle and fight with life, food and
sleep and often are not enough to replenish the internal energy. There
is a common feeling amongst people that they are seldom at their best.
And when they are, it is short-lived and followed by bouts of
exhaustion. By learning to yield, relax, empty and flow with the stream
of life, the current of life begins to carry us along naturally to where
we need to go. Emptying your mind of all obstructions, who you truly are
surfaces. By emptying yourself of all things that are not you, that in
which you are may now fully occupy your being. If you allow for others
to rule and control your thoughts and actions, you are not a whole
person. Anytime a fraction of who you are is left unoccupied, it will
become occupied by another being and you will become impartial to life.
Why do people take advantage of each other? The answer is simple:
Because they can. You must fully occupy all that you are or something
else will.
