Punishment

Written by: Daedalus, Guardian of Balance
Date: Sunday, April 4th, 1999
Addressed to: Master Dave, the Negotiator

The matter is simple. When a mortal, any mortal, breaks the bond
of patronage without so much as consulting the God he has pledged
his soul to, it is a mark of extreme disrespect. Neither myself
nor any of the Gods of the Garden can allow such an act, whatever
the motive, to go unnoticed (or, alas, unpunished).

When you feel you have understood and are prepared to atone,
my loving and merciful ear will be prepared to listen.

Daedalus.

Penned by my hand on the 24th of Aeguary, in the year 216 AF.
